About

Service

The concept of the working church means that as true believers, we serve the Lord with our talents and efforts. Different people serve in unique and different roles, but serve with the same purpose of glorifying the same God in His church.

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”

Ephesians 4:11-13

Missions

The Great Commision calls believers to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. We believe this encompasses witnessing interpersonally, reaching out to the local community, and giving to missions globally.

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Matthew 28:18-20

Prayer

God’s people communicate with Him through prayer. Prayer is important for a personal relationship with God and for church guidance.

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

Hebrews 4:14-16

Music

We begin worship services by lifting praises to God through song. The hymns sung are usually accompanied by both piano and organ.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Colossians 3:1

“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”
Ephesians 5:19

Bible Version

The King James Version is the Bible version utilized in services and printed materials. This version is the closest translation of the original Scriptures in the English language.

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

Revelation 22:18-19

Meetings

The church meets weekly for worship services on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening (Sundays: 9am & 11am, Wednesdays: 6:30pm). We also hold special events and fellowships that can be found on the events page.

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:24-25
